Summit Cotopaxi - EcuadorCotopaxi (5897m) is next to the Ojos de Salado the world’s highest volcano. It is not as high as the Ojos but significantly more active. A few years ago during an eruption the ice cap melted away and a giant mud avalanche deserted big parts of the approximate village Latacunga, killing people as well. |
